I’m a child of the Mediterranean, so Copenhagen has never been particularly high on my list of ‘must-see’ travel destinations. But now I need to find 61 free nights so that I can sleep in every one of the rooms at the newly-opened and delightfully crazy Hotel Fox (found via decor8).
21 international artists from the field of urban art, graphic design and illustration were invited to design the rooms, creating 61 completely unique works of art. Here are some of my favourites, but check out the others on the hotel’s website (which also includes links to the artists’ own websites which are well worth a look).

I can only say WOW.

Blimey. They have that whole sublime-ridiculous thing going on, huh? I applaud the idea, but some of the more cartoony rooms would freak me out completely.
Ever tried Hotel Windsor in Nice? Similar idea, incredibly reasonable prices, similar mixture of gorgeous/omigod (presumably catering nicely to all tastes.)

We stayed in No 78, which was wonderful when bathed in sunlight, but we moved from another which was poky and a little frightening…
