Thanks guys. You played a blinder. Yesterday was the first and only time I’ve wanted to be a US citizen. Just wish there was someone comparable in the UK.
Oh and read this, it’s beautiful.
Just a few small points.
– Can you add a woman to that picture soon? Say in eight years? (But PLEASE not Sarah Palin.)
– Pretty disgusted though by the Yes Vote on Prop 8 and by the anti-gay marriage votes in Arizona and Florida
– Michele Bachmann – WTF?
– Also Ted Stevens – WTF?

I love all these images! The “OMG” is fantastic! The second one is “comically” poignant. The last one I am happy to know I will see for some time to come! HOORAH! Oh Bama…you are Barackin’ m’world!
Yes, sadly with steps forward came steps back. California, Arizona, Florida…and Arkansas!
But I’d sacrifice this for the moment to see that man in the Presidency!

Two steps forward and one ENORMOUS step back. So shocked about California. Really thought it was in the bag.

It’s so good, isn’t it. I am overwhelmed. What a beautiful, beautiful feeling.

What an amazing man he is!! He truly is what America symbolizes, and what we need, especially after that irritating man( I don’t want to even type out his name).Go watch the movie “W”,and you will see why we are in such a fix.
Very disappointed in my fellow Californians with prop 8!! Made me so sad to see a protest, with a sign being held up saying “second class citizen” That is what the passing of 8 makes them, and it is not right!

OMG is right. I’m still happy as a lark 2 days later.

I am so relieved! In 2004 I thought we’d throw the bum out, and when he won (actually won the popular vote that time) I was profoundly demoralized. I lost confidence in Americans’ ability to see further than their own fear. The election of Barack Obama is a vindication of the American idea, and our dedication to it. Now maybe we can get on with all of the things we need to do.
