Ten years ago yesterday I went to church, took a walk in a graveyard, travelled across London on top of a double decker bus, held a cocktail party in a bijou London hotel and went for dinner at the Ivy in a corset.
Here’s one of the readings we had during the service.

I know, I can hardly believe it myself. Don’t think I’ve ever stuck at anything for ten years.
It’s funny how old-fashioned everything seems already. Nowadays I’m sure I wouldn’t have a veil or such a big ‘meringue’ (though I felt like a princess wearing it) and I GOT MARRIED BEFORE THE AGE OF DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY which I regret immensely as the quality of the scanned-in photos is not so good and I’m terrified of losing the prints.
