Please may we have some more updated pictures on the interiors, sort of whole room type thing – looks like lots may have changed from the original when-purchased look – or do we have to wait until it’s all finished and finalised for a big reveal?
Kerrie,
You definitely won’t have to wait for a reveal. Not much has happened, but we’re now turning our attention to the inside so there’ll soon be so many before and after shots you’ll be weeping with boredom.
Anna,
The bedlinen might be tricky. The white Provencal bedspread came from a grotty supermarket (possibly Monoprix) in Paris MANY years ago. The cream cut-out duvet cover came from John Lewis or similar, also many moons ago.
The little hanging shoe was a gift a couple of days ago from my husband from the MOMA store at JFK. Can’t find it online though. It is hanging from a cupboard doorknob which is so ugly I couldn’t bring myself to photograph it.
The curtains though are from Ikea! http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/60111199 I think they look pretty good, though they’re so artificial that you almost get an electric shock through touching them. The teatowel draped on the back of the chair is there courtesy of a recent ‘mirrormirror’ photoshoot. They’re on the site and I’ll blog about them very soon.
