Am feeling VERY sorry for myself. It was my birthday on Monday and I spent the whole day in bed with a terrible stomach pain, temperature, vomiting and diarrhoea, just like I had a month ago.
The doctor seems to think that it’s most likely the recurrence of a stomach virus, but can’t rule out something appendix-related, which is a bit scary.
So I’m feeling very miserable indeed, and it’s just what we needed when our departure date for Seattle is now so close.
Normal blogging service will hopefully be resumed shortly.

Poor thing… And there I was, thinking of you yesterday on your birthday and imagining that you were off enjoying a mad whirl of planning and packing.

How awful…Make sure to be kind to yourself and try not to push too hard to be better. Good soup, a cosy blanket and a movie are the answer… I watched “Me and You and Everyone We Know” when I was sick, and it made me feel lots better!

Just trying to catch up on a summer’s worth of blog reading. Sorry I missed your BIRTHDAY – Happy Belated Wishes to you and I hope you feel better super fast so you can have birthday treats over the weekend without feeling queezy.
I do sympathise, I was so unwell a few times with similar symtoms, though I was glad when it meant I lost weight before my pals wedding! But still, it is always better to feel well, esp. when moving. Best wishes for a full recovery and no appendix related stuff.
