There used to be a programme on British TV called One Man and His Dog where they used to show sheepdog competitions (sheepdog trials are still big in rural parts of the UK) at teatime on Sundays. Which used be faintly compelling in a ‘I really don’t want to do my homework’ sort of way.
I can’t begin to imagine what Americans would make of it though.
